Dr. Anna Cleland-Leighton

Dr. Cleland-Leighton is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician who has primarily worked in the outpatient and nursing home settings in rural Kansas. She is passionate about holistic and comprehensive patient care that allows patients to be empowered to make confident healthcare decisions.

With her father in the army, she moved around often as a child but spent most of her childhood in Kansas. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Graceland University, and medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City with rural clinical track in Pittsburg, KS. She completed the Wesley Family Medicine Residency program in Wichita, KS and practiced in rural Kansas until her transition to Direct Primary Care in Andover with Integrity Medicine.

Dr. Cleland-Leighton enjoys caring for patients of all ages, and especially enjoys the relationship and trust that forms with primary care and caring for multiple generations of a family. She has broad special interests within family medicine including women’s health and geriatric medicine.

Dr. Cleland-Leighton, her husband, and their two children live in Andover along with their two dogs and a cat. She enjoys running, sprint triathlons, and reading. She also enjoys sharing activities with her kids like baking, riding bikes, and drinking tea.
